It took my cat 3 weeks to destroy this. While the concept is good, it doesn't hold together in any way. Once the cat pulls it well it all falls apart and there's no way to fix it, I've tried. It's a good price and the right size for my base, but just doesn't cut it for aggressive scrapers.

I love them. I have a scratching post with a round section of the bed that I had to fill and the regular square cardboard scratching posts had to be cut up and clumsily pushed into the cracks. All I had to do was apply several outer layers and re-tap the tape to the required diameter. Fits like a glove and my grumpy little ones couldn't be happier with the new, tighter fit.
