The perfect PC amp!

Purchased to power Micca MB42X speakers. It's perfect for her! I bought this amp because it has a USB input which works like a DAC with its own driver which allows the amp to show up as a separate playback device in the sound settings. That means when you turn on the amp it connects and automatically becomes the default playback device, and when you turn it off it automatically disconnects and reverts to the previous default device without having to manually change any settings. Despite the problems, this is a reliable option.

This integrated amp sits on my dad's desk, but I think I used it more than he did anyway. I wanted something he could use with both his computer and Chromecast audio. This is achieved with a clean, sleek look from a brand I like. It will easily power some Polk T15s and can reach unnecessarily high levels without audible distortion (30W x 2 into 8 ohms listed, less than 0.5% total harmonic distortion). I find the pre-out a very useful feature and use a Polk PSW10 to drive a subwooferโ€ฆ

Amplifier Micca OriGain AD250 - high quality, compact, best in class

I was looking for a high quality, yet compact speaker system for my PC. (I'm sick of buying low-end, PC-designed all-in-one speakers like Logitech, Klipsch, and many others; they may sound decent for a while, but problems soon arise.) Mikka is constantly mentioned and highly regarded in many "cheap audiophile" and "cheapest" audio gear reviews from around the web. OriGain AD250 delivers on those promises. It really seems to be one of the best compact amps for the price. Superb build quality and

Exceptional Compact Stereo

I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I like clear and smooth sound, which wasn't the case with the desktop configuration I used to have on my desk. There really wasn't anything wrong with the product I used, but it was more for portability than sound quality. I spend a lot of time at my desk and workbench and decided it was worth upgrading the sound. tweak something, so I started exploring my options. Since this wasn't my primary system, I looked for a somewhat inexpensive setup. Thereโ€ฆ
