I'm disappointed in these USB to micro SD card adapters. The micro SD card is protruding from the strap attachment point and the card itself is not held securely by the device. If you just want to pop in an SD card and leave it on your desk or desk drawer, this might be for you. When you carry it in your pocket or purse, be careful not to drop the SD card. Terrible product. The set I received was terrible. I have better quality and branded microreaders. It seemed like a good deal but you get what you pay for. As I inserted the micro SD card, I felt it being scratched by the reader's teeth. I use several at a time to transfer files, but only use 1 or 2 with them at a time. Any more and they won't work. I will keep them as a backup but not for primary use. If you haven't bought, please don't.

I liked how small they are, can carry all six on my keychain, I use them to transfer files from one computer to another and all six worked, will buy Have this service again.

Quality varies greatly from piece to piece. They all work perfectly, but you can definitely tell they were quickly assembled from inferior materials.

Purchased May 2016, just used the last 4. Well, 3. Out of 6, 5 worked as expected. For the price I have nothing to complain about. What about leaving the micro memory card in the drive when not in use? No - if it were meant for storage then this type would surely come with a lid.

Too bad we can't give zero stars as none of the 6 adapters work. I have Sandisk adapters from 4 other manufacturers. They all work on all my computers, whether desktop or laptop. None of these 6 work on any of them. Tried with different chips and on different computers. At best, I get an error message stating that the USB device I plugged in is not recognized by Windows.

so they work, they read the card and all, but they come apart very easily and this became a problem so I threw them away and don't use them. In the end I settled on my trusty Lexar USB 3.0 Micro SD card reader that I got when I bought my Lexar Micro SD memory card and I bought another one so now I have 2 Lexar USB adapters and they work great, never had a problem with you.

None of these fit in the USB slot and µSD cards don't fit. I'm afraid of damaging both my USB ports and my µSD cards. The µSD cards even protrude slightly over the edge of the reader. This is definitely NOT SanDisk quality. When trying to pull one of these out of the USB port, it fell apart into three pieces - red plastic, black plastic, and a circuit board. To return.
