I use them in my art studio to remove paint particles that I mix myself. I was fed up with choosing a pigment that doesn't fully dissolve in my work. They work great to ensure that the paint you pour back into the bottle is residue free. Incidentally, the color is easily washed out of the funnel.

Filters are fine and cheap without the funnel. The funnel size is _not_ suitable for filters, it would be impractical to stack the filters to use them. Set the silicone funnel aside for another use and 3D print a matching funnel or just use the filter without additional support. Use for SLA resin.

This is a collapsible silicone funnel and paper filter for filtering paint before spray painting. They have worked great for me. It's true that paper filters don't fit perfectly in the funnel, but a simple fold makes them work just fine. After use, discard the paper filter, immediately rinse the funnel with solvent and you're ready for the next time. No fuss, no problem.

The funnel was almost free with the filters when purchased but I found the resin tends to stick together and go straight into the resin bottle when the filter is held will be about an inch above the bottle. The filters are stiff enough to hold their shape, but if not held they will knock over the neck of the bottle and when resin is poured into the filter over the top filter it will spill out of the bottle if not held up . Bottle. No criticism of the filter, just a question of technology.

A sieve is inserted in this paper filter. When your screen paint or slightly sticky paint needs a stirrer or two, the screen rises and lets the particles through. Additionally, strainers that come with a flexible silicone funnel must be folded to fit in the included funnel. I needed something to hold the paper filters. From the description, they go well together. They don't.
