Makes tricks in a small space understandable

I just needed basic isolation for some rapping and spoken vocals in a relatively quiet room. It worked great and gave the recordings a much better feel. Great for $.

Pros
  • even for old people
Cons
  • Not sure

The product works great.

I took it out of the box and started using it right away. I do a lot of voice work at home and it does an excellent job of suppressing light echoes in my office. I am very glad that I ordered this sign.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • thoughtlessly

Great for home recording. Beautiful and big!

Vocals recorded in different ways. While this doesn't isolate your voice from your neighbors, it does remove outside noise really well. Also, I'm 6ft 4in and that's right up to my height without feeling shaky. Very strong feeling. fold up very compact.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Exchange possible

EXCELLENT PURCHASE! I love it!

Like! It is durable and brings stillness and isolation to my open spaces. I've mainly used it for voice overs, but I also record and will be using it for reference vocal tracks and for overdubs soon. I like that you can adjust the screen for different coverage. Looks really professional and the price is right!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Good but not great

Bought for a friend who speaks for our radio station. Its limited space and reverberant space needed taming, and it was perfect. On a small table with a high-quality microphone, the sound of the singing talent is perfectly captured, and the echo from the room is minimized or eliminated. We were told it was a quality build fit for purpose.

Pros
  • Beautiful

Great isolation screen on a budget

I got mine today (5/23/2020), it works better than I thought! I ordered it a week ago for $35, now I see the price has gone up to $50. Maybe it's because people understand that it really works and not because of any accessories getting in the way. As I recorded my vocals with it, I realized how much cleaner they are than before I got this shield. If you are looking for an isolation screen on a budget, I would definitely recommend this one for its price and utility.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • No machine gun

The hardware is terrible!

The adapter that is designed to attach to the screen and connect to the mic stand isn't even threaded to attach a screw to the case! How can it connect? ANSWER: You can't. I didn't have to figure out (and spend more than 45 minutes) how to solve this problem. If you're looking for a microphone isolation shield, look through the reviews to see which ones are easy to set up and don't have similar reviews. I can't even tell you how it works on record because I can't set it up. Unacceptable.

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Compatibility

It was easy to assemble and mount my condenser microphone on the stand. Just a couple of minutes. The quality seems to be ok. I don't have a soundproof room and I was hoping this would reduce some of the background noise my insanely sensitive condenser mic seems to pick up, but it doesn't. I think for those doing simple voiceovers or podcasts this would work well with a dynamic mic, but for my specific mic and for musical vocals I would need to add some acoustic panels to my room to try andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Some difficulties
