I recently bought a new drive for my 360 e from Nextec. After replacing the logic boards and installing a new drive, it worked like new. I would buy from Nextec again if needed.

The part worked perfectly. This refurbished item looked brand new when removed from the packaging. And the instructions in the nomenclature and the accompanying documentation helped me understand the process and what is needed for the repair. As for future parts, I know where to find them, NexTec.

You need to open the circuit board from the old drive to this new drive. It's not for the faint of heart. Unless you have at least average experience repairing sensitive electronics, you should not attempt this. However, I was able to complete the job and get our trusty Xbox 360 working again. So it's a good deal, but be aware that it's not really plug and play. Make sure it is the same hard drive model as your system.

After some research I decided to buy this DVD Rom from Nextec Direct based on other positive reviews I read. The item arrived on time and was well packed in a nice box. Inside the box I found a well-written instruction page and a torx screwdriver. My installation went smoothly and the Xbox works great. Correspondence with Nextec Direct was also very good and they even asked how things were going with a private message, which I really appreciate.

I can now play games on my Xbox 360 Slim. It's just fantastic. I would recommend buying this if you know how to replace the circuit board in your Xbox 360 drive.

Great deal. I couldn't believe Microsoft encoded the disc in the box. Thanks to the good instructions it was an easy exchange. Worked wonderfully and the kids are back in business ;)

This was a perfect purchase. If you order this I will order 3 more. That's how happy I am with this drive. All I had to do was replace my circuit board from my old drive. Solder some wires and it plays all my games just fine!

item arrived as described. I was aware of the risks involved in replacing the circuit board in the DVD-ROM, but I did it anyway. After replacing the circuit board, everything works great. After much research I think this was the best price I got for a DVD-ROM.
