You can also use a drawer stand!

I like this simple article. Tools are not required. My puppy only needed a cage to grow up. And there's enough room underneath that I can buy a full size crate pad and tuck it under the baffle instead of buying a few when it's grown. Now we just have to see if the crate cushion survives the teething! :D

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • The list will be long.

WAY too small! in Cats

I bought this because the box we bought (same brand and model as this divider) was the same brand and model. Seriously, I don't know who made this separator, but it's A LOT small! Not a coincidence at all. We need to design our own drawer divider. To make it usable we would have to bend the poles and destroy the crate. Not good.

Pros
  • Sea of Positive Emotions
Cons
  • Empty

Will not fit 36 " cage

We got a new border collie puppy and didn't want to buy a new cage (we already have a 36" cage) so we bought this spacer. It does not fit. It's too wide and tall. Had to use metal cutters and zip ties to get it working but still cheaper than buying a new box just because of the divider. The size is obviously wrong. One star for money saved.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Great product, versatile

We recently got a new kitten and we used a large kennel for him at night and when we couldn't look after him. He's a smart little guy and quickly figured out there were gaps at the top (I turned him over so the gap was at the top instead of the bottom) that he could crawl through to escape. I bought a few of these and zipped them to the outside of the kennel to keep him from coming out, then covered the entire kennel with a lid. It worked like a charm.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Good but not great

Not Square and Broken Day 1

Mine didn't appear to be square or rectangular. One end was tapered compared to the other so one corner wasn't touching the drawer when I installed it. I used zip ties to hold it in place and sealed the gap on the fly, but a little pressure to keep it stable caused the side rail to snap. Now I need to attach the towel around this part so my dog doesn't get hurt. I will be very happy when he grows up in his cage and I can remove this divider. Not worth the money at all.

Pros
  • Endurance Test Results
Cons
  • Functionality
