After having 2 other cages and cleaning up this whole mess with my guinea pig every day, I chose this cage because of the tray. It was really easy to put together, bought protective plastic leg pads and even built a second floor out of wood. The tray saved me 80% time, I bought a couple of dollar store grilling trays to put on it, so I just took them off everyday and cleaned up the whole mess without using expensive and dirty linens. Great cage that is very easy to assemble. We use it for a Rex rabbit and it has enough space for itself, a food/water bowl and a mat. The drawer helped me, not flimsy at all. We breed meat rabbits for our family and use these cages for our 4 breeding rabbits weighing 10-12 pounds. We didn't like the smaller ones available at our local farm shop. We can put a large bird house, hang a food bowl, hay trough and water bottle and the rabbit still has freedom of movement and will not be overcrowded with babies, so they can stay with her longer. Excellent cage. Good workmanship, the pan fits almost to the edge, wider than usual. If not cleaned daily, the small pan can be difficult to remove as it is a support wire making a greater attempt to get it out without knocking things off the pan. I really wish I would like this cage but my poor rabbit hates it. The great thing about it is that it's easy to assemble and transport, I like that it folds up and stores easily. The tray that slides out at the bottom is nice, but be careful what linens you use.
