My sweet dog has to have surgery in about ten days and, after consulting my vet, bought this onesie. She can wear it after surgery and won't need to wear the dreaded cone. It's very easy to put on though there are a bunch of snaps. A friend mentioned the ease of using a onesie after his dog had surgery so I decided to give it a try after my puppy was spayed. It is so much better and I’m sure more comfortable for her than using the cone, especially at night. I wasn’t sure how it would work when she needed to go potty, but when she squared the opening allows her to go to the bathroom without anything getting on the suit/onsie! It was kind of cool! She didn’t seem to mind wearing it and it kept her from licking the incision.

I bought this for my 75 pound 9 month old golden retriever who was getting neutered, even though I didn’t have the money for it, but so many people told me I needed something like this. While he looked adorable in it, it was soft and all of that, the material gaped and he was able to still lick his stitches. So, that was a waste of money when I’m already struggling financially.

I bought this as a post-surgical suit for my pup after her spay. It was the only thing I found that completely covered the surgical area. It did not rub the area as it stretched from chest to backend without really touching. She seemed pretty comfortable wearing it and didn't try to lick or scratch at all. Absolutely perfect suit for my dog to recover from being spayed. She's a 3 year old 42 lb. long and lanky doodle and we got her an XL based off the size chart and reviews and it worked perfectly. She can pee and poop while wearing it and cannot lick her incision. We have taken it off daily to inspect the wound and brush her as she does have long hair that will mat. I’ve got a 58lb German Shepherd who was spayed so I needed to have her in something other than the cone of shame. This recovery suit is super stretchy and totally adorable but it’s not quite long enough. In theory the xxl should fit her but it’s a bit awkward for her. Luckily it is super stretchy so she can somewhat accommodate but wanted to say of you’ve got a pup that is long in the body (like a GSD) you might want to consider sizing up one size.

My little Yorkie is 15 years old and and can't hold it all the time. We use disposable belly wraps but he was always able to roll and wiggle his way out of them. This prevents him from doing that and it is super soft and fits great. It also is open in the back so if he needs to poop when we are away, it doesn't hit the suit! Another issue with the velcro kind that wasn't open in the back. There are a lot of snaps but it's better than the velcro kind that eventually stop sticking.

Super easy to clean. Fits perfectly. My dog could still go to the bathroom even with the suit still on. There are a lot of buttons, but easy to take on and off. Great buy!

This is an excellent idea but needs fasteners that dogs can unsnap & get out of it. Looks great and nice quality if only she could not have got it off.

Fell apart within 3-4 days of use. Bummer because we love the color, and our dog is recovering from a major surgery and needs her stitches covered.

The first day we put it on .he chewed the back of it off! Very thin . It may not be breathable enough, causing discomfort for the dog. Not recommended for dogs that like to chew on things.

This is well made and thoughtfully designed to be easy to apply and difficult for the pet to get out of on their own. It is lightweight and stretchy so it is comfortable for them to move about and well crafted to allow them the freedom of elimination without a wardrobe change.

My female dog was spayed and hated the post op cone around her neck. It was driving her crazy. I bought this surgical onesie and she immediately calmed down, was comfortable, and happy, which made me happy. I am so grateful !

Got this for my little old German Shepherd who had to get spayed a little later in life. She already has arthritis so it was nice that it was easy to put on and won’t pop off. She couldn’t lick her surgery scar and made her recovery quick. She’s back to her old self! I like this better than her running into walls with the cone of shame.

Very comfortable. It is stretchy. Easy to clean/washable. Perfect for anything you need gor your dog. Great for wounds to heal without being infected.

This is great once your dog is home from surgery. Easy on easy off. There are a lot of buttons but you’ll soon learn the trick to only unbutton the bottom half and then roll it up and get it out of the way of your dog when he hast to pee…

My husky mix had tummy surgery and she could go in and out the house without the need to remove the suit. The suit was so comfy that she never tried to remove it. Post surgery was so much easier to care with this suit.

Had my little dog "fixed” and I didn’t want her to lick her wound. This worked perfectly. It’s very hard to have anything fit perfectly. She has a long body. I did sew it so it fit more snuggly. I use them now as just cute pj’s. Even though I had to revise them, I would buy them again.

Love this with the belly bands to keep away from females in heat. Thanks for attention! Able to skip heat cycles with this onesie!
