🧊 MiiR 23 oz Insulated Narrow Mouth Bottle Review

Great water bottle - drinks stay cold all day. WELL DESIGNED - Not bulky for a 23 ounce bottle, nice modern look, comfortable grip, nice texture and minimalist stylish branding. I'm glad I spent the money on this well designed, functional bottle.

The plastic handle broke the first time we dropped it and we had it for a maximum of 3 months. I've dropped other water bottles dozens of times and nothing has happened: Nalgens, Contigos, fancy steel bottles that look like they're made out of Carrara marble, and none of the handles have broken.

I have several MiiR bottles but they are only silver and some are not insulated. In general, a vacuum flask makes more sense if you really don't want ice or anything like that to melt over time. This new bottle is slightly smaller (shorter) which is perfect for many situations. I had high hopes for this bottle. I was looking for something that would keep my water very cold for hours, hold enough water, and be smooth enough to carry around in a large bag or bookshelf. My problem is that no matter how well you wash this thing, you smell sweat or a sour odor all the way up the rim. And believe me, I'm a germophobe. When I ride this bike (which I did constantly for about 4 months, after that I washed it every time to reduce the smell). Even then it stayed, even if not as intensively. I bought four of these bottles about 12 months ago. So far all four bottles have held up very well. These are great bottles, very well made, mine survived being dropped on concrete more than a dozen times and they still have a perfect seal that doesn't leak. Most importantly, they do exactly what they were created to do, which is to keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.
