Description of ๐Ÿ“ถ MikroTik LHG LTE6 Kit: High-Speed CAT6 LTE Modem for Extremely Remote/Rural Areas with Cellular Network Coverage

The LHG LTE6 kit also known as RBLHGR&R11e-LTE6 is a device for very remote locations that are within cellular network coverage. Mount it outdoors, on a pole, mast or any tall structure, and connect even where cell phones fail. Due to its large sized high gain antenna, LHG LTE6 kit can connect to cell towers in extreme rural locations, giving you the ability to provide last mile internet access where nothing else is available. The new LHG LTE6 kit features a CAT6 LTE modem, which enables carrier aggregation and allows the device to use multiple bands at the same time. It provides better responsiveness in a crowded environment and higher efficiency for weaker signal situations in the countryside. CPU: QCA9531, CPU core count: 1, Size of RAM: 64 MB, Storage size: 16 MB, PoE in: 802.3af/at, 10/100 Ethernet ports: 1, Number of SIM slots: 1 Modem (Micro SIM), MiniPCI-e slots: 1.

Good option for dial-up Internet access

If you have a regular cellular signal (at least a few bars), you can purchase this key and a 4G data plan and connect your home network to it. I can easily get a SINR of 17-20 and a synchronous speed of around 40Mbps. Some providers offer unlimited/unlimited plans, although they expect to pay a decent amount for them. If you need fast internet and not cable then this is a decent option.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No instructions

Requires STANDARD (2FF) SIM card, not Micro

Product is of typical MikroTik quality and design and works well. I will update this review with some notes on performance after deployment. I'm writing this review to point out an error in the documentation and marketing literature: This product has a standard size SIM slot (2FF), not a micro slot (3FF). I was stunned to see my micro SIM sliding back and forth into what was obviously an oversized SIM slot and had to find the appropriate bit driver to get the motherboard out of the case andโ€ฆ

Don't buy if in the US!

Straps are for INT and most don't work in the States. You can get a trace, but that defeats the purpose of LTE6's dual-band speeds. Wait for the US version to be released. Please update the list of straps and be warned for US use!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great with T-Mobile!

They are very good for tech savvy people. I've been an IT/network engineer for over 10 years so setup was easy. I had to dive into the command line to change TTL settings etc. Overall this works great. I have a strong T-Mobile signal at home and regularly get over 60Mbps and 10Mbps. This is a great backup of my Frontier Unlimited VDSL2 which has issues from time to time. This is a great investment as a backup or primary connection mechanism.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Compatibility

Unable to contact for networking products

The company cannot be contacted due to faulty equipment. I bought it in the first month and I have a lot of problems with the signal input and output. Other device checked, works fine. Both devices are exactly the same in the same place. After-sales service must guarantee the product.

Pros
  • Builds trust
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Truth? is working! but leaves a lot to be desired!

I'm not a Mikrotik fan but I admit that they have solutions that others don't have, at least in terms of price, this antenna leaves a lot to be desired because it only works with 3G LTE, extremely low speeds, I tested it right next to the provider's tower and I got a maximum of 30 megabytes when I tried the speed test on the phone and it gave out 400 megabytes, the difference is clear, 4G LTE and 3G LTE But I have another router with only 5 dbi antennas and it worked at 230Mbps. This antenna is

  • The best in its niche
