As a computer enthusiast, I was searching for a reliable wireless access point for enhancing my internet connectivity. As my tests showed the Mikrotik RB912R 2ND LT Antennas turned out to be a fantastic choice .The build quality is remarkable and weatherproofing is impeccable. The antennas offer an excellent coverage range and a stable Wi-Fi signal even in unfavorable weather conditions. The only downside is the absence of a user-friendly interface, making initial setup slightly tricky…

Pros
  • Easy to install and use, and weatherproof for outdoor use
Cons
  • Not suitable for long-range connections

OS RouterOS, knowledge is required for configuration, but there are default settings in which everything works out of the box, you only need to click on ok the first time you turn it on. Has pros: The price of the equipment corresponds to the price on the mikrotik website when converted into. Two sim cards can be inserted by different operators. Has cons: There is no external connector for the antenna, only internal ones.

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

I'll change my review. The router was brought closer to the street into the light of God, glued to the rear window with Velcro with double-sided tape, and only then did it reveal itself in all its glory! Confidently holds an OpenVPN tunnel home, for example. But the GPS did not work. In fact, Mikrotik themselves admit that the antennas of this device are unsuccessful. If LTE more or less worked when I got the router out of the bowels of the car, then GPS with an internal antenna will not work.

Pros
  • This is Mikrotik with all its inherent advantages. If there is a network technology that needs to be applied, RouterOS knows about it.
Cons
  • The claimed GPS is in fact useless and inoperable. The device, which is positioned as automotive, should be waterproof, but I did not even find any traces of rubber seals.
