Bulbous end is not well designed

Cannot be fitted to the valve stem on most vehicles as the bulbous end is too large to fit in the tight space left by the wheel or hubcap.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Nothing

Milton did not disappoint.

Milton doesn't disappoint. Good quality item that is made to last. The gauge is always off by several pounds, I just need to add a few pounds to what the gauge is reading to get the correct reading.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Useless features

Marriage out of the box

Very expensive. Poorly designed product. Very inconvenient to use. Allows air to flow through the pressure gauge during operation. Measure at 4 psi. The pressure gauge hangs on the hose when the trigger is pulled. The locking cartridge will not lock itself unless you hold the valve stem with your hand. Emailed Milton customer service but never got a reply. Back to Revain this one will go.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Approximately

Fast and accurate on tire repair tools

I was surprised at the accuracy for such a reliable tool. Easy to read. As far as I can remember I've used it down to at least -10 F (-23 C) and the hose stayed flexible and the gauge worked. It is easy to use with one hand as it is attached to the handle. So far it has fit the entire fleet but is a little tight with Jeep rims (especially Jeep's rim design bug). Fills up quickly, doesn't leak and is a real MILTON! I have 40 year old Milton air cartridges that still work great!

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Can I add something

Easy to inflate tires

After years of using a standard tire inflator and gauge I finally bought a Milton bayonet gauge. WOW! I knew I was going to take it the hard way, but didn't realize how much a Milton gauge with lock-on chuck could help, three trailers (4 tires per trailer), an F-250 pickup and a Check ATV for proper tire pressure. The locking mechanism on the chuck makes the job easierβ€”Milton's easy-to-read gauge is exactly the same as what you get at the gas station where they charge $1.50 for a tire. Removing

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • There are downsides
