An electrician. - Measuring & Marking Tools

If you are an electrician and don't want your whistle to look like an old man's whistle, you need this angle. Keeps your lines straight and yet your boss couldn't fire you

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Some Mistakes

Isn't it cute on measuring and marking tools

I like it because it's small. It won't fall out of my pocket. That's why I stopped carrying 7 1/4 with me. I'm a carpenter who loves three squares. This is a great alternative.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Tradeable

Great smaller size for small projects.

Handy small size for Speed Square, for use with smaller tasks than bird's eye trimming on rafter tails or steps and risers on stairs. Does everything you need for Speed Square.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Issues

Notches on the tool in the measure and markup tools

As you can see in the photo, there are notches all along the side of DEGREES. It's impossible to get an exact line. QC Milwaukee Tools missed this, hopefully I'll get a much better one. However, I deduct 1 star.

  • Absolute Legend

Like a weight on it to measure 45 and 90 degree cuts.

Easy to read, compact to carry in your tool bag. Good weight, rests on a 2x4 which I use for small home projects to build wooden tool boxes and garden wooden boxes. Complements my other 12' and 24' squares for use as saw guides and cut marks on small 2x2, 1x3 lumber and small shelves. A quality must have tool and I love the weight that marks my mini cuts. I was looking for a small frame tool and found it in metal, not plastic. Milwaukee makes good tools of all kinds!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative impression

Product as described

Product as described plus a few extras. Be sure to read the label attached to it. I saw useful information there that I did not find on the website. The first thing that struck me about this square is the edges. They are machined, not molded, cast or stamped. That means there are sharp 90-degree corners around the edges. Ideal when you need a very precise cutting mark. As for overkill if you just want your square to fit in your pocket but use it for rough input. I ended up getting this for one…

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I will add later

Works well, very portable

Not as functional as the large shape but much more convenient for everyday use in the tool belt. Working from 2x4s to 2x6s works great. Maybe you pick a standard for more headroom in a project and then go back to it when you're done.

Pros
  • Compact square shape is 35% smaller so it fits easily in tight workspaces, pockets and purses
Cons
  • Quick start guide
