Stick With Milwaukee

I've had some hard blades. It was junk and they bent, jammed or dulled too quickly. I paid a higher price and returned to Milwaukee back. These blades cut through nails and 2x4s like they weren't even there, at least with my Milwaukee electric saw, and last about 3 times longer than hard blades. For drills, saw blades, nails, screws and tools, US production lags behind as before the best. It's worth the extra money, not to mention how much safer the blade is than rigid blades. Nothing is moreโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1/2" shank fits all Sawzalls
Cons
  • I'll add later

Excellent, Strong, Long Lasting

Use a blade to cut an old olive tree into four trunk nodes to encourage healthy new growth. I even jammed the blade under larger branches in my beginner's ignorance of cutting, but after much effort the blade came free and the blade did not bend or break. I learned the lesson of cutting without damaging the saw or blade which is a huge plus. And this olive wood is hard and heavy, but the blade does not wobble even on branches the size of a trunk. I've cut down small trees and uprooted damagedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Country of Origin: USA
Cons
  • Expensive

Blades for removing tree stumps! (but can't cut rocks)

I bought a set of these blades to cut roots on a stump in my garden. The good news is that the stump came out. Too bad it needed 2 blades. Hardened ice or not, the blades won't cut rock. There are still teeth, but they are not sharp. These blades are guaranteed for 5 years but I don't see how they will last that long. To get back to my story, when I hit a small rock, sparks flew, dirt spurted out even though the roots were still cut. Anyway, I have a 12 amp variable speed (1+1/8) orbital cutโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Long saber saw blades ideal for heavy duty demolition work
Cons
  • Good but not great
