I wasn't sure if size XL would fit my husband but oddly it was comfortable. He is 5ft 9in and around 225lbs. His weight is average. The leather is flexible, not as stiff and soft, but still thick enough to keep you warm. He rode the bike for about an hour and the wind decided to pick up to 20 mph. He said it kept him warm. I ordered a 2XLT which is 6ft 4" and weighs about 260 pounds. as a replacement for my motorcycle jacket, which hit the pavement too enthusiastically. This thing is big, if a bit snug. Great quality and heavy. I rode in a sweatshirt at 30° and felt nothing but cold fingers. Removable liner is great. I bought the XLT and felt a bit tight, especially in the underarms and especially when layering, so I use it in milder weather.
