Bought specifically for the magnetic tip. I have used Craftsman, Stanley Fatmax etc and would choose any other than this. The magnet is weak, the blade is weak, it bends and breaks. Outstanding isn't very good etc. Just not my favorite band.

This is the only tape measure I'm going to use now. Simple features like the ability to hold the band with your finger from underneath and how well the belt clip slides in and out. Even the magnet came in handy, which I really wasn't expecting.

I have to return it but I use it to show other electricians how this company's tools are getting worse and worse. Our company uses all Milwaukee tools. They will even develop tools to fit our needs. You just can't build a good roulette wheel. Sad.

He loves this thing. The magnetic end (so you don't always need someone to help hold the end tab where you want to measure) and the little "viewing window" (which allows you to see exactly what your measurements are) are the ones Main Benefits. He also likes his weight. Well done Milwaukee.

Great tape. Accurate, well defined and easy to read. I'm an electrician by trade so a 10ft rack is handy. The only reason I'm not giving the volume 5 stars is because it's the second one I've bought. Used for the first year until it broke. Will rust, so wipe it down if it gets wet. Also, a frame with a defect on the one I ordered and a replacement with the same defect.

I ordered this tape because it is exactly the same as the one I bought from Home Depot about 6 months ago have. The tape itself is thinner than the last one so it stinks and not as strong as the old one. It's a real problem: They've been trading for 30 years and they find a tape measure that works really well, and after a few years they make it cheaper or they discontinue it because now they have the tools to make tools. Just disappointed

Discreet band with good qualities but want it to stand out further without bending. This will flex after being extended only about 4 feet. Otherwise I like the other features. The lock is good and easy to use, the tape is easy to read and the end of the tape is a good strong shape and magnetized well. I just wish it would stretch further without flexing. I am an electrical apprentice and use it every day for commercial and industrial work.

I'm not a professional, I'm just a home user but here is a review that almost made me not this product to buy . The Jesse James review says there is a "notch" under the "6" that seems to be where the tape measure won't work, and from the picture it looks (to me at least) as if the metal had been cut in half. The circle at 6 is not true at all, it is a complete lie. What looks like a slit on a tape measure in his photo is actually a plastic/rubber cover that extends from the end of the tape…
