Excellent price; great job

Peeling oranges is fun! I sat there trying to use my nails and it took me ages to peel an orange which I sometimes didn't eat because of the effort. These little tools work great and make eating oranges easier.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • No instructions

I wish they were stainless steel

I really like these citrus peelers, just wish they were stainless steel so I don't have to keep buying them. They're simple and work great until they break, which happens at least once a month. PLEASE make them stronger where the blade is, it breaks too easily at the base.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled

THE BEST orange peeling tool

If you've been slicing oranges or have nightmares about peeling oranges, give these tools a try. My 3 year old daughter goes crazy when she sees me pull this tool out of the cutlery drawer, she knows she's getting juicy navel oranges! It requires a bit of skill and technique, but it's a lot better than doing it with a knife or by hand.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Contemporary

I really like these items for kitchenware and gadgets

We had these when I was little and they were so useful to start eating an orange when the thumbnail was closed was short. 30 years of searching and finally found! My husband laughed at me for needing an orange peeler, but then he had a burr and I found he used it to keep his poor thumb from being bitten by citric acid. Seriously, such a useful little thing.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

do you really need it

Okay, we eat about 20+ citrus fruits a week so we thought this would be a good buy. Stick an orange out from under my nails. It's actually a plastic knife. It opens the skin to a depth suitable for normal sized citrus fruits. But you come across citrus fruits that have thicker or thinner flesh, and here you still dig deeper with your fingers, or you cut the flesh and the juice flows out. I use it but in hindsight I wouldn't buy it and just use a serrated knife to measure depth.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

What you need

I recently bought a few. When they arrived I realized I had made a mistake. They were very cheaply made and didn't go deep enough. I replaced the one I had for a year which was great. Eventually it broke (they don't last forever - they're plastic). Then I decided to find one that was as close as possible to my original - it definitely is. It arrived today and looks, feels and peels like the original. I'm sure it will last a few years and then I'll have to look again. They're a little more…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

The Orange Peeler You've Been Looking For

A long time ago, a retail company offered an orange peel as a bonus with your order. These little gadgets were nowhere to be bought. I lost mine when we moved and I mourned each winter when oranges appeared in stores. Then I saw these beauties here on Revane. Oh joy! Yes! They're not exactly the same, but they work exactly the same. You simply run the sharp edge across the entire outside of the orange once, and then again at a right angle (I do this four times, as if marking the segments. Then…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
