Excellent quality, best lighting and ceiling fans

Love these fans! They are so durable and great quality. Very quiet operation. The wall switch is difficult to maneuver and difficult to adjust to the desired fan speed.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Nice looks but strange design.

The motor and blades of this fan are in one piece. I've never seen a fan designed like this before. However, I like the look, it is very shaky and loud.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Large ceiling fan to fit ceiling fans

Bought two of these for rooms with vaulted ceilings. They work great and look even better. I just wish you could start the engine without going down the stairs. One is at a height of 13 feet.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Sad fitment

Safety Concerns - Defective Product Causes Property Damage

We purchased this fan in 2018 and had it professionally installed. Two weeks ago in the middle of the night in the same room our two young children were sleeping one of the blades broke off and flew across the room damaging our door and giving everyone a complete fright. Luckily nobody was hurt, but this could lead to serious injuries. Since then I have contacted MinkaAire via phone, email and online portal with no response or responsibility. Buyer Warning.

Pros
  • Builds Confidence
Cons
  • Annoying

All in all I could buy it again but at a lower price.

The fan moves more air with less noise than the old cheap fan that was replaced and this fan looks nice. The fan noise is quite acceptable. At high speed, there is a rhythmic sound of chopping, chopping, chopping of the air that other fans (four blades) in our house don't have. The faux wood paneling, aged koa, could have been better. I've seen the same finish on other Minka Aire fans to a much better effect. The finish on our fan housing looks much more polished than the finish on the blades…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
