I bought this with the Riptide 55 SP. The device consists of two parts: a bracket for the engine and a bracket for the boat. Mounting the motor to the bracket was very easy. I did not enjoy installing the bracket on the bow of my boat. The template they give you is useful and works well. My problem was getting access to the underside of the bolts to secure the nuts.
