The best part is that it comes with a very clear instruction manual that explains in detail how to properly apply and dry gel nail polish and even gives tips on what to avoid/don't do to make the manicure last longer. This lamp beats other lamps. Worth every penny. If you get bad results, it may be operator error. So follow the instructions. I use the auto on/off feature for convenience. Attention! False advertising. This lamp does not work with UV nail polish as advertised. This isn't mentioned anywhere except in a tiny instruction manual in the box. It is even labeled as a UV nail lamp on the outside of the box. Then when I went to return the iot, Revain said this item is non-refundable >:/.

Works great. What was really cool was that once I set the timer to 60, I didn't have to press any more buttons. It automatically started a countdown with light when I put my hand in and both turned off when I took my hand away. This is better than the lamps in the nail salon!

I bought this lamp with the intention of using it to cure UV gel nail polish/builder gels and after applying the OPI Prohealth base coat to my toenail, the has a slight viscosity I put my foot down in the device only to find that after the 30 second cure required for this product the gel was still tacky and not cured at all. I make my own gel nails (and toenails) at home, I have all the products I need right here at Revain. This light really speeds up the process and doesn't hurt your eyes which makes me feel better especially when doing my daughter's manicure. It's definitely worth the money!
