Mirror Universal Interior RearView Suction Review

I liked that the suction cup had adhesive to hold it in place. I have the same suction cup design to hold the hook on the shower (tiled) wall. It stays on initially. But eventually it will lose suction and fall off. So, as the title of the review suggests. The time will show. I gave the product five stars for now but may have to downgrade if the suction power doesn't last. UPDATE - The suction is holding up well now since I installed it.

Good product but the description is wrong. This mirror does not have a lever to toggle between positions (known as a "day/night mirror"). It has a blue anti-reflective tint that helps a little at night. Anyone who expects what everyone in the world knows as a day/night mirror will be disappointed. On the positive side, the suction cup and adhesive mount are very secure, the adjustment range is very good, and the image on the glass is nice and clear.

After 3 months of use the sticky part of the mirror started to seep and soil my windshield. You need to buy slime and a razor blade to remove it. I washed the window and rinsed the suction cup with cold water and the mirror lasted another 2 weeks. This is a process. I live in Florida, the temperature is high in the summer. I will probably remove the glue from the suction cup and replace it with a different back glass or stick a new suction cup sticker on it. Preferably without glue, like here.

The computer controlled rearview mirror on my 2013 Audi A4 has come loose.
