Mitchell Mitch Medium Semi Matte Styling Review

I chose this after doing an unreasonable amount of research on hair products. I have thick, straight, relatively soft hair that is about 4 inches at the top and is usually combed to one side. This cream combines the hold of a gel with the flexibility and softness of a lipstick! It's a waxy substance that keeps my hair in a short pompadour style better than American Crew's gel! I would highly recommend this cream to anyone. The price is high, but a small container lasts a long time because you only need one finger of gel. I will never use anything else again!

I LOVE this product! No smell or fragrance (which I prefer since most men's hair products are overly perfumed). Ideal dry hold for short to medium length hair. It doesn't look crunchy or oily at all. Just rub it between your hands for a few seconds to make it transparent instead of white. Rinses easily out of hair unlike wax products and pomades.

Interesting product. It offers a very firm hold without being a crunchy gel. There is no question of smell. Seems like it's perfect for spiky, messy styles. Above all, it can be distributed surprisingly well, so that you hardly need a lot to cover the little finger pad for the whole head. Seriously, this is what I was looking for in a hair product to keep my hair looking great all day long. I've tried many products over the years including gels, mousses (for the 80's ones), hairspray, wax, pomade and none have worked as well as this product. I've tried SO many hair products and I don't like most of them. This is a rare exception. The hold is medium until you run your hands over it, then it retains a slight hold, which is nice as it helps hold the style. Little or no odor. I particularly like that it is not a matte finish, which makes the hair very dull and dry. It's also not shiny at all - a more "natural" look that's surprisingly hard to come by. Most products are either glossy/hard or very matte.

We actually had to buy a few units because it's my husband's favorite item. We have tried many other products but this one leaves his hair soft and not sticky. Arrived very quickly as promised!
