📏 Mitutoyo 293 344 30 Digimatic Micrometer Range: High Precision Measurement Tool Review

I have a set of Mitutoyo calipers and I love their quality and I expected the same from a micrometer, I was not disappointed. The fit and finish are excellent, the movement is smooth and the repeatability is dead on. After the battery was installed and assembled I tested it on the ZZ gauge pins and it was pretty damn accurate from 0.061 to 0.500 microns. This is an accurate tool that is well worth the money.

As usual, Mitutoyo tools are very good in workmanship and finish, I have no problems with them. Minutes is too long and will shorten battery life. The LR44 battery type is alkaline and tends to leak when stored for a long time. The lithium type can be more modern and suitable. The suitcase arrived with broken hinges that needed to be repaired. The quality, accuracy and repeatability are great, but the biggest difference I noticed right away was how easy and effortless the thimble adjustment was. It's good to have IP65, the display is easy to read, it uses the same battery as all other Mitotoyo tools I have so you don't have to stock up on lots of sizes and you can always have one.
