Great value for money - diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

I am 100% satisfied with this compression gauge. I almost bought one of the cheaper versions but I'm glad I went for this one instead. The quality is really great and there are many accessories. To be honest I don't understand how you can make such a great product for so little money. I liked it so much I bought a second one as a gift for a young aspiring mechanic I know.

reading too high? on diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

First use gave me 230psi! I think that's too optimistic! So I doubt the accuracy of the absolute numbers - I'll compare and report with the snap-on device. the thread on the connectors of the adapter gave little resistance, so they are a bit overpriced; maybe the chrome plating is broken? The price is hard to beat as tool trolleys are easily 3-5 times more expensive!

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • I don't remember but there was something

You forgot something.

Part quality is good but if you have a countersunk spark plug hole you will need to thread the adapter into the spark plug hole by applying torque to the hose. WTF? This can be corrected by splitting a short piece of appropriately sized tubing and attaching it to the hose and then slipping a pair of O-rings over the split halves. You're still applying torque to the compression fittings, but you can at least avoid twisting the threads. Did the designers fall asleep before reaching the finishโ€ฆ

Great for my truck and scooter

I bought this to test compression on my pickup and 150cc scooter and it worked great. I don't have another to compare its results but I can vouch for its consistency. I tested both devices multiple times and got the same readings each time. I was also pleased with the variety of adapters and extensions that came with the kit. It seems like a good compromise between price and quality - I'm sure pricier models will be more accurate, but for the typical shade tree maker I think it's more thanโ€ฆ

So far so good, but not made in the USA

As a rare user of Revain, the line "Country of Origin - USA" in the product description led me to believe the product was made in the USA. After seeing this statement, I bought this more expensive product and not its cheaper counterparts. Finally, I don't need all the adapters, spare Schrader valves, or blown bodies. Unfortunately, this product was made in Taiwan. Now friends have told me that the indication is where the product is shipped from. I have nothing against other nations or peoplesโ€ฆ

quality tools! - Fuel Pressure Gauge

I bought this to replace a $20 compression test kit I bought from Revain about a year ago. I assumed that such a simple tool should be fairly accurate no matter who makes it, but that wasn't the case at all. I compared the compression readings on this gauge to two other well known brands and they were within 2-3psi. When I compared it to a $20 gauge I bought a year ago, I found the cheap gauge was 65psi off! This cheap gauge eventually prompted me to purchase another outboard to replace the low
