One reel had to be repaired to be usable.

One coil not installed. Epoxy found in connector blocking installation. I removed the epoxy with a drill and completed the installation.

Pros
  • Available in Red
Cons
  • Low repairability

Old coils on ignition parts

While working on my Mini I changed the spark plugs and coils at 100,000 miles and the second injector failed shortly after. All 4 injectors replaced but the 2nd was still misfiring. I wanted to pull the spark plug out to make sure it wasn't fouled and the problem was only caused by a fouled spark plug. Pulled the coil and melted the lower duster on the spark plug. Even after removing the valve cover I can't get my boots off.

Pros
  • Ignition coil compatible with MINI 2007-2016
Cons
  • Almost OK

DON'T BUY THIS SHIT

DO NOT BUY THIS COIL! I am negotiating with my attorney to sue this company. Within 48 hours of installing my Mini started misfiring. I wanted to take them off and all 4 shoes melted onto my spark plugs. I was told at Mini that they would have to disassemble the engine to access the cylinder heads and remove the dust boots. The repair will cost thousands. My car was fine before and now I'm totally screwed. Lawyers will definitely step in.

Pros
  • crumpled output compared to factory spools; Yield is 5-10% higher
Cons
  • weak
