💽 Efficient 1GB USB Memory Stick: Mix Tape Edition Review

Don't be fooled by the pictures and descriptions. Basically what you get is a cheap piece of cardboard in the shape of a cassette. I managed to fold it up and put it in a jewelry case I bought at a thrift store, which would have been nice if the idiots who made this product hadn't smeared their stupid website all over the place. It even tells you where to write in the tracks. Barring cheap, shabby materials, I don't buy gift boxes (which they are) covered in advertising. So not great. Really…

I knew the packaging was going to be just cardboard and I put up with it because hey. Beggars cannot vote. But the cardboard box with the USB drive inside is NOTHING like the picture. I really should have paid more attention to other reviews. A "cassette tape" is just a very badly folded piece of cardboard. The whole point of this product is to mimic an old school mixtape, but it really sucks. For the cost, they could easily make it out of plastic and include a cartridge case and liner since the USB drive itself is only about $5. Maybe if they could fold the box straight? Maybe if this thing could stay closed and at least mimic a cassette?

Absolutely terrible. I rushed to order and I really should have read the reviews. As others have pointed out, this is a very poor quality board with poor printing. It does not look like the item pictured. To make matters worse, mine came with a fake record label that said "SUCK RECORDS". I was very happy to get this for a friend. At the time I didn't care about the price because I knew it was new so w/d. However, when I received and opened it, the case was CARDBOARD! My girlfriend liked this gift very much. You simply download a few songs from your MP3 collection and record your mixtape. Super creative for today's digital age and you get a lot of bonus points. The only thing I wished for was that the case itself was a real cartridge with the USB stick locked inside. I would pay more for it. Improve It Designer! :) Plus it was a great gift and she loved it!
