Suitable for Epoxy!: Kitchen & Dining

I use these for stirring epoxy and they really help reduce the amount of mess I make. use them once. They are good and I've even noticed that they reduce the amount of air bubbles in my resin a bit. Best of all, they're super easy to clean too!

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Neutral

Good for mixing 2k epoxy

Decided to use reusable sticks for mixing 2k epoxy as well as wood glue and sawdust for woodworking. The mixing sticks can be cleaned with very little effort and dried epoxy residues can be easily removed. I particularly like the durability of the stirrers. just the right bend to ensure a good mix

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Legacy model

Great for mixing epoxy

Flat edges make it easy to stir and clean the sides of the beaker when mixing epoxy, ensuring an even mix. Removing dried epoxy is possible, but not very easy. You have to bend the stick many times and scrape off the pieces with your nails and/or a knife, but most will eventually come loose for you to use the stick again.

Pros
  • Great workmanship
Cons
  • Durable

Pretty good for mixing epoxy

Flat edges make it easy to stir and clean the beaker walls when mixing epoxy, ensuring an even mix. Removing dried epoxy is possible, but not very easy. You have to bend the stick many times and scrape off the pieces with your nails and/or a knife, but most will eventually come loose for you to use the stick again.

Surprisingly, it's worth it

I've compared them to a box of tongue tools or popsicle sticks. All the reviews for wooden sticks have said how bad they are, so I went with these. They put a lot of thought into something so simple. One end is square to fit in the corner of the mixing bowl. The other is rounded to make a fillet. Both ends are tapered, making them easy to use as a spatula with a slight bend. Epoxy will peel off once it cures. Unlike wood, they are reusable.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • clarity

It's a win/win/win in every way!

I use them to mix polyurethane resin and silicone. I wish my nonstick pans would work just as well! Uncured materials can be easily wiped off with a paper towel. Cured resin and silicone fall off immediately. The edges are thin and scrape off the sides of the container very well. The rounded and flat ends are great for scraping the bottom of various types of containers. Unlike wooden stirrers, they don't retain moisture, so it won't get into your materials. And you can use them again and again,

Great for mixing resins and silicones

I hated wasting so many wooden stirrers and there was no way to easily clean them. They have been designed to be reusable and easy to clean. The great thing is their unique shape. The flat rim helps scrape and mix the pieces at the bottom of the flat cup and get into the cup rims. THEN, as you wipe the excess off the stick, it is lifted on one side so it slides over the rim of the cup to gently remove. She took off a star because the whole set was a bit warped. They are flexible, but I can't…

Pros
  • Great product
