The hole is really small

I use beading needles a lot and you should use super fine thread or thread with these needles. I gave it to my daughter who has just started beadwork. They aren't very strong and I broke a few. I bought these because I'm a big fan of Miyuki's beads, but I wouldn't buy pins again. I will stick with the Tulip brand, they are very durable and will last forever.

Pros
  • Best in its niche

Perfect but very sharp

These needles have worked great on some fairly heavy work so far. They flex but don't break even under a lot of pressure and I had no problem threading them by hand. The only warning I would give is that they are VERY VERY spicy. I don't need sharp needles for the work I do so I removed the sharp point with flush cutters to avoid further injury heh.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

Mediocre needles. Would give 3.5 stars if possible

I've been using tulip needles since they came out. I wondered if there were any needles that could compete with them. And since I use Miyuki beads, probably 3/4 of my Deli cylindrical beads, I decided to give these needles a try. Well we lost. Used her to make brick earrings, very small triangles, six rows by 5 and five crystal pendants, she was able to pull through the hole in just 3 passes and they already have a curve. My tulips have been used in so many projects I've lost count and they are

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

I am VERY disappointed. I've been waiting for this to arrive and started a beading project for a friend, but I can't EVER use these needles without the stringing tool that should have been in the package. Very upset to learn it wasn't included!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
