The best running shoes I've ever had.

Beautiful shoes! Comfortable, light and does not need to be overclocked. I'm an average runner. Sometimes shoes make such a step hard on the body. This gives you enough cushioning to make your mid stride pain free. I love her. I don't know about the durability yet, but for now it's the best. Although there could be brighter colors.

Pros
  • X10 Outsole: Durable carbon rubber for longer life.
Cons
  • There are problems

Small, no arch support

I wear a width 12 Mizuno and have never tried this shoe, but it was recommended to me as a good option for heavier runners who need arch support and want a neutral shoe . When it arrived it was too small in all dimensions and lacked any arch support. The insole seemed completely flat. This is a beautiful and very popular shoe, but it didn't fit me at all.

Pros
  • WAVEKNIT
Cons
  • Issues

appropriate size for shoes

The Mizuno Waverider was my running shoe. I bought this pair as a casual shoe and to my dismay they lengthened the shoe in this new version, 25. I always wore a size 13 so I tried a size 12.5 and they were too tight. Then I tried a size 12.5 wide and the sock was too small. So I pulled the 13s out of the trash and ordered heel inserts. I doubt, of course, that I would swap my current version 24s for this one. All good things must come to an end. Back to the Asics gel halo?

Pros
  • U4ic Midsole: Provides optimal cushioning, durability and excellent ride. Innovatively lightweight, well-cushioned, responsive and springy.
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Heel split good for Athletic

Really disappointed in Mizunos. When I was a young runner, I loved the wave. Now I walk because my knees work differently at 68. I thought Mizunos would be great for my daily walks. This is my second pair in the last year and the same thing happened to both - in no time at all the heel pad came off and of course blisters formed. I don't know if my shoes were made on Fridays and everyone in the store was in a hurry to go home, or if that's normal for Mizuno shoes these days. I can wear them with
