I was confident that this tool would work. I had a broken nut that had to be unscrewed. The nut won this fight, the teeth broke as soon as I touched the tab with the tool. I barely touched the material and it caught on 3 broken teeth. I don't really blame the tool, maybe the review just says it cuts the nut. So 4 stars anyway
Pros
Patent pending Teeth design optimized for faster stock removal
This is my first time using a hole saw. The reason I wanted this one is because it's cheap and came with a mandrel attachment for use with my drill bit. I used it on the back of my homebrew kegerator (metal outside, plastic inside) to route the gas lines. The 9/16 hole was the perfect size for a typical (US) CO2 gas line. I'm going to try this on my SS fermentor next, it's a bit thicker so we'll see how it germinates. ;)
Pros
New outer red coating reduces sidewall friction for efficient cutting
So I bought this to put a peep hole in my metal door. This was recommended in a video I watched while researching the project. I saw him use this tool and it worked for him. That's why I ordered it. I checked the racquet before I started and it looked fine. Did a great job drilling the back of the door. But it failed when drilling the front side hole. Everything started well; but mid-drill it began to sway wildly and uncontrollably. When I stopped to inspect the bat, this is what it looked like
Pros
New side slot with greater leverage for quicker and easier snail removal
