I forgot what shiny black polylactide

is. So I made a pact with myself not to buy silk thread anymore. And to be honest, I prefer rainbows. But when this black PLA appeared on Vine, I decided to give it a try. I downloaded and tried it on my Creality CR6. Now, I'm not very picky about print quality, but I can definitely tell when something's going bad. At first I thought this MKK PLA filament was the same as another regular Chinese filament I recently reviewed. The coils were the same design and the winding on both was equally terrible. But the temperature tower shows little difference. The product list here recommends printing at 230-250°C. never mind The label on the coil indicates the temperature of 195-220°C. Don't pay attention to that either. Do not print at temperatures above 185°C unless you like a lot of stringing. See the photo of…

very nice!: 3D printing consumables

I didn't have high hopes for this thread as I always buy famous brands and use the same brands all the time. I love the consistent results I get from the threads I've "voted" on my Ender 3. But I'm very pleasantly surprised by this thread and MKK is on my approved list. It prints great with a first layer of 210 and then 205, on a platform heated to 60 for the first layer, then 55. I've used this filament to print a few spool boxes for small parts and hardware parts, it has one perfect adhesion,
