Mix of new and used

The set had a mix of new and used parts, the home button was obviously used and didn't work, there was no contact on the bracket so it was unusable. The spacer and gasket were new and useful parts when replacing the screen. The rectangular piece from the picture was not included.

Wrong picture; not for A1566

Firstly, the parts in the picture are not exactly the same as in the kit. Second, the A1566's home button has a large backplate, but this one has a smaller backplate that doesn't match the iPad. Touch ID is another problem; They should say the button doesn't come with Touch ID! piss off! Invalid image and does not match A1566

Happy with the home button and great customer service from the seller

Seller did everything possible to fix a defective order for this item. They took the time to see my side of things and helped me find a solution. The home button is of good quality and works as it should and is easy to install. It came quickly and I was happy with the product I received and the service the seller gave me.

Too bad I didn't read the reviews before trying to install, but overall pretty rubbish.

The home button cable itself is too long and there wasn't a convenient way to route the cable inside. Also, the gasket that holds the home button was the wrong size. I couldn't figure out why it fit so awkwardly, but unfortunately I figured I was close enough and closed the iPad. The screen didn't close properly due to the home button's uncomfortably long cable. Also because the gasket didn't fit - the moment I tried to push the button the whole assembly shifted inside. Now the screen doesn'tโ€ฆ

It works, but the wrong seal came.

Installed on iPad Mini 4 Cellular (A1550): Working but with wrong gasket. It also doesn't include the big plastic thing in the top left corner next to the home button in the first picture, but I don't think it's needed. As you can see in the picture, these small slits should line up on the gasket. with a ribbon cable, but the gasket must match the outline of the home button or it will not click properly. As long as you play around with it, it should work. I guess for $9 it's not a big dealโ€ฆ
