Excellent Filter for Automotive Maintenance

Based on my observations, this filter is a game changer in the automotive industry. Its extended performance filter technology keeps my engine clean and improves fuel efficiency. The filter is easy to install and works great in different car makes and models. The only downside is its slightly higher price than other filters, but it is worth every penny for the added protection it provides. The Mobil M1C 453A Extended Performance Filter is a must-have for any garage or shop looking to upgrade…

Pros
  • Increased oil filtration efficiency
Cons
  • Higher cost compared to standard filters

Preferred for Toyota Tundra

This is my favorite filter for my 2010 Toyota Tundra. The metal housing and long-life filter have never given me a problem with 8,000 to 10,000 miles between full synthetic oil changes.

Pros
  • Withstands up to 9 times normal system operating pressure
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Not recommended for Lexus ISF

Strictly not recommended for Lexus ISF. After installing and warming up, the engine began to make a strange knocking that wasn't there before. I've heard others have had the same problem with other oil filters. Well I replaced it with an OEM brand Lexus/Toyota and surprisingly the noise was gone. I think the metal caps around the filter heads restrict the oil flow somewhat.

Pros
  • Reduces oil flow resistance while increasing filter efficiency
