I finally took a shower. Our bathroom only had a hand held shower. This is of great importance. Also, it's set to face the tub, not the far wall like all the others I've found.

1. It's too small for the Delta shower head I bought at the same time and was recommended as a fit. It has NO tension. If a weight is put on it, it will fall down.3. There weren't any installation instructions, so you'd better ask for help if you need it (it's really easy). That makes no sense.

I have tried many different shower hoses and the shower bracket does not fit. The shower hardly sits inside. There isn't enough tension to hold the shower head in any position other than the down position. I've tried tightening it to create more resistance, but this forces the rubber seal out of the ball joint. Waste of time and money, now I have 3 holes to patch when I break this block.

We needed a new wall mount after our plastic mount broke. I also wanted something that was adjustable for my family members of different sizes, as well as something strong enough for our chlorine filtered shower head, which is heavier than most. This mount is perfect in every way. I can adjust the shower head to the height I want and even under the weight of the shower head it stays in place until adjusted. It's attractive too. I am very satisfied with this product.

I am very happy with it. It's heavier and stronger than I expected and the finish looks great and held up well for the first 6 months or so. The ball-in-socket design is also excellent. It doesn't matter if the anchor plate is aligned with anything as you can put your hand anywhere - and it holds perfectly at any angle and still moves easily (you can also adjust the tension a bit by tightening the gland nut). I would definitely buy it again if I needed another one.

Perfect for what I need. I used epoxy to attach it to the fiberglass shower screen - hopefully it will hold without screws. Well made brass! Update 6/20/2015: The epoxy didn't hold so I drill two holes in the fiberglass and use the anchors that come with lots of epoxy to waterproof it. The wall mount has a hard spring and rubber washer inside to prevent easy adjustment. I removed the rubber washer as the spring is more than strong enough to hold the spray head in place.
