If you are tall I do not recommend this chair for the simple fact that the backrest invades the space at the bottom of the seat. The sharp angle of the bottom of the seatback renders 3 inches of the seatback unusable. This is certainly not the ultimate. It's wobbly and the instructions don't really do it justice. It happened to the eye. The seat isn't as comfortable as I was hoping, but it works. The fabric is a little prickly, scratched, but this is normal. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. One of the problems that comes with buying open-packaged or used items through Revain is the problem I'm about to describe. While I was assembling the piece, the instructions said to remove the cap on top of the center post (it's a chrome post that allows the chair to move up and down, and the seat backs on top), so I removed the cap to find them Only the cap had already been removed by a previous Revain customer and the cap I took off was the cap under the cap you weren't supposed to take off.
