Disappointed

I was attracted to this because I wanted to make bracelets without metal. I have not checked availability or group diversity. They are only transparent or black, I couldn't find any other colors on the net. All of my designs would look more sophisticated with lighter stripes. Also, one of the pinholes seems to weaken over time. I'm not sure how the loom will hold up over time

Pros
  • loom
Cons
  • old

I have only used it once but it was very easy and quick

I have only used it once so far but it was very easy and quick. I made an ornament. I usually used peyote stitch and added one bead at a time. This way I can add a whole row as fast as a bead. It was a bit of a hassle to set up, but once everything is put together everything becomes a breeze. Great that there are no warp threads for weaving! My next project will use a clasp and make a bracelet. This device is destined to see a lot of use from now on!

Cons

No more frustration with multi warp weaving!

I would give this 4-1/2 stars if I could. There are a few minor issues preventing me from giving it 5 stars but this product got me back into beadwork. After using the Jewel (Beadsmith) loom and the Clover loom to make beaded bracelets up to 21 beads wide, ie two sets of 22 warp threads to weave (on both ends) I gave up on them. Then I tried the Ricks beading machine which only promises to weave 4 warp threads but doesn't work because the metal rods you wrap the warp thread around are too thin…

Pros
  • Weaving & Spinning
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others
