Nice Backup Monitor

The monitor was easy to install and worked great. So far I haven't had any problems with this product. During the day the image is clear, at night it is a bit grainy. For the price it does a great job as a backup monitor and the dual mount capability makes it very versatile. I use a dashboard mount with 3m tape. The tape holds the monitor securely to the dashboard with no issues. I would definitely buy again.

Doesn't work in hot weather

Monitor works fine most of the time. But it doesn't work with breaks. Just a black screen. This only happens on hot days when it gets very hot in the car. At first I thought it was a camera. So I swapped the camera. That worked for a while, until the next hot day. Same problem. So I conclude this is a monitor. The next morning when it cools down it works again.

Very important! good for mirror video

This is a great monitor (so far) for my backup Auto Vox Cam 6. For the price the picture is great and even better than I expected. At first I tried using a power cord that plugs into the 12V outlet in my car, but that didn't work. I installed an extra circuit (bought at my local AutoZone store for $6-8) in the fuse box under the dash and used the power cord that came with the monitor instead. I had this monitor installed and only worked for a day, but so far I am very happy with this monitor…
