Description of πŸ” LEVENHUK Atom 10-30x30 Black Monocular: Compact and Versatile Quality Optics

Levenhuk Atom 10–30x30 is a monocular with continuously variable magnification ranging from 10x to 30x. This is a compact optical instrument that can accompany you on any adventure. It weighs little, fits in a jacket pocket, great for short-term observations of the outside world. Best of all, it manifests itself in the light of day and allows you to study nature, architecture and any very distant objects in detail. The device cannot boast of a wide field of view; to a greater extent, it is focused on the targeted study of individual objects. Thanks to this, it can be used for orienteering or hunting. The case is made of plastic, but protected by a rubber coating. It improves grip, repels small drops of moisture and dust. The optics are made of coated glass, so the transmitted image pleases with the brightness of colors and the clarity of detail. Users with imperfect vision will appreciate the large eye relief and the tilt-and-pop eyecup. It is possible to mount the device on a tripod. Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

Has pros: Compact, well built, magnification without blur. compared to binoculars, it wins in compactness and, most importantly, in variable magnification (this was not enough in binoculars) Has cons: The plastic seemed rustic, but this is a household appliance. I would win if it was possible to fix protective caps, otherwise there is a high risk of losing when using "in the fields" or on the go

The quality is so-so, the price does not match the quality.

Disappointment from the material from which the monocular is made: it does not smell, it is tactilely pleasant, but after you bring the monocular to the eye and suddenly touch the skin of the eyecup, after about an hour, reddening of the skin appears in the place where the contact occurred. You might think that I'm pressing the device hard - it's not. Moreover, the redness lasts for two days and not only me, but also the child also showed redness. Be careful. Focusing mechanism - it is easy to

Pros
  • Easy. Good design. There is a cover available.
Cons
  • - The focus mechanism is too loose. - The biggest drawback is the material from which the monocular is made. (See comments)

I fell for the multiplicity, and compactness, forgetting the school course in physics - optics . Miracles do not happen. Different pros: The description of the product is excellent, and most importantly, the characteristics are excellent according to the description . and that's all. Got cons: Real multiplicity instead of 10-30, 5-14!. At first I didn’t understand (didn’t believe it), I have an old Olympus binoculars with a variable magnification of 8-16. And in comparison with the monocle, the

Terrible quality, disappointed with the purchase.

Rubbish, not a device. We bought a child for DR, now we are urgently looking for another gift. Doesn't focus in any of the eyepiece positions! And the multiplicity due to the removal of the pupil from the focus is a very controversial decision. In general, the purchase discouraged the further use of Livenhuk products! Too bad you can't give less than one star in your review!

Pros
  • Case and covers for the lens and eyepiece.
Cons
  • It does not focus, does not actually change the magnification of the device, is not even suitable as a toy!

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Satisfied with the purchase before this was Veber 10x Pros below: Small, practical, case, lens covers, convenient to take with you, took for 1.8k Cons below: You have to get used to adjusting, it’s not clear right away
