Great Stuff - Additive Manufacturing Products

Using a BIBO2 printer. Started work on my son's wooden railway project. Well, the biggest piece was too big to print on my bed. So I took a roll of this PVA and a kit to insert it at an angle. It initially took a minute to get the filament right, but once I had enough material in my support design it worked great. Probably should have used a mesh support as the support was a bit wavy. Pros
  • 3D Printing Filament
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

I tried this PVA and was terribly disappointed. I don't know what's wrong with this PVA, but it doesn't dissolve in water. It becomes very sticky and easily dissolves in water (warm water, sitting or shaking) after a few hours. I will never buy anything from this company again and I hope someone sees this and decides to do the same. This material is more like PLA than PVA (and pure white). It wouldn't surprise me to know that this is a mix of PLA and PVA. Whatever it is, it's a waste of money.

It's possible that the spool I received wasn't good initially, but as it was my first (and last) spool from this company I can't say for sure. Since it arrived I've tried many prints, about 50% of the time pva doesn't print properly and I have yet to see some of it fully resolve. Overall I am very disappointed with the…
