🚗 2018 Jeep Wrangler Door Sill Guards, 4-Door Plastic (Part #82215394) Review

I bought these for my 2020 Wrangler Rubicon. Something seemed to be missing when getting in and out. I found these black Mopar door sills that have a Wrangler built into their design. There is a small arrow on the side for easy alignment for installation. There are cleaning wipes in the pack, then you tear off the tape and stick it on. They just helped trim the door sill and added a finishing touch to make it look right.

They fit my 2019 Rubicon Unlimited perfectly. They were very easy to install after cleaning the area with the alcohol wipe provided. If you look at the pictures for directions you'll see exactly where they should be, but it's still best to dry them first to get an idea of where they're best before removing the adhesive strips. Once the adhesive strips are removed, they fall down and they stay down. They look good and offer the protection I was looking for. would recommend.

Very pleased with the door sill fitment and overall quality. Be careful when cleaning the surface and use alcohol to remove oil-based contaminants. The attachment is very strong thanks to the double-sided 3M tape (one side is already glued to the parts). Be sure to follow the triangular alignment mark to slide the moldings into the sill area. These were the first 'mods' I made to my Jeep (2021 Wrangler JLUR) and they are a nice addition. Installation was easy, although the first time I left a small gap between the rocker guard and the rocker panel before learning how to install them properly. I found that I attached the rest with no play by skewing them, pressing the top of the guard against the sill, then rotating it down until the glue stuck. If I had to repeat it, I wouldn't start at the driver's threshold, but it's really minor…

Like most Mopar parts they look and fit well but are overpriced. They are easy to install and adhesion is good. I suspect that under normal conditions it will last a long time. I bought these door sill protectors to provide extra protection from scratches and scrapes when getting in and out. I was a bit disappointed as they don't seem to cover the whole range that you think is right.
