The cage with standard 15mm rods is designed to work with most cameras or camcorders such as Canon 5D Mark II and Nikon D700 D300. DSLR Camera Cage with many standard 1/4 inch threads allows professional or amateur cameraman/filmmaker to mount accessories like microphones, monitor, sound recorders, top handle, tripod, follow focus while well protect your cameras or DVRs. The adjustable slide-mounting mechanism makes the follow focus fit a large range of lens diameters, including video camera lenses and the gear drive can also be mounted from both sides for left or right hand use. The precision-machined follow focus is made of durable anodized black aluminum and ABS and has a quick release clamp. It is compatible with all standard 15mm rods and can always provide you a slip-free, accurate, and repeatable focusing with its completely gear-driven design. The matte box, made of removable plastics flags and black anodized aluminum tripod, has an adjustable height to fit different lens sizes and diameters from 43mm up to 82mm.It can fit 15mm standard rail diameter and can be used to block the sun or other light source so as to prevent glare and lens flare.

Excellent purchase! in camera and photo

This product represents excellent value for money! The cage is metal with a convenient carrying handle, the matte box stays securely in place, and the tracking focus is smooth. I'm very happy with it!

That's a good camera sensor!

I like this cage but the battery hole isn't big enough to open my 70D gun to change batteries. I think it was designed for the Canon 7D. To change the battery, I have to remove the camera from the assembly. The rest of the cage is well made.

Great for both camera and photo

The Morros DSLR Cage Set is a powerful tool in the videographer's arsenal. Its cage is designed to be very strong and hardly wobble when shooting. I bought the device and was hesitant to leave a review until I had time to take it off. I have to say that after several shots I was very impressed and will be using it in all my handheld projects. I gave it four stars out of five because some of the plastic parts seemed flimsy to me, but I still recommend this device to my friends. I will also say…

Good quality: professional video accessories

An annoying flaw, the holes on the edges are too narrow. Even with a small head screw many of the underside are useless. Like mountains are little spheres. Otherwise I really like this unit. Good solid construction gives complete confidence
