I was hesitant at first because this case was not meant to fit MBP Model A1398 (Mid 2014) but it fits perfectly like a glove! Some other users have reviewed this one Possibility pointed out so I'm glad it worked out well I really like this case, makes the MBP look like an old book which I was looking to hide on the bookshelf :)

I really wanted to like this leather zipped tote and it's less than half the price of the Twelve South version and is a great deal. It feels good inside and out. Overall I'd say this is a lot better than the similar TwelveSouth BookBook case. The case itself (at least in red) looks more like real leather. My MacBook was one of the supported models and it fits almost exactly. This is a great product with good quality and it really looks like a book. I really wanted to love him. However, if you own one of the 2019 MacBook Pros, be careful. I liked the idea of this case and I really want to like it but it just doesn't protect my laptop like it should considering how expensive my laptop is 😔. I compare them to my much more expensive TwelveSouth BookBook sleeves for laptops, iPads and iPhones: not the same quality in comparison, but still very good for the price. It seems solid and shares all the same structural features. The leather on the outside doesn't look worn or aged but otherwise it's close enough and good value for money. A great alternative to TwelveSouth branded products.
