MOSTPLUS DE8T-1A180-AA TPMS Sensor Set (315MHZ) for 2013-2015 Ford C-Max & 2010-2016 Ford E-150 (4 Units) Review

Fitted two of these to replace bad OEM's, they don't work and won't program or relearn, I'm a Ford technician, bought them because they're cheap, I guess that's why I am now out the window to bring them back. A lot of wasted time and money, not satisfied.

Replaced the old ones with a 2011 Ford Edge, 91,000 miles. The factory recommends replacing them every 100,000 miles or five years. Walmart installed them and programmed them into the car when changing tires. Seems to be working as they should.

Functionality works as intended on our 2010 Fusion. THEY ARE PRE-PROGRAMMED FOR THE VEHICLE THEY ARE FOR, BUT THEY MUST BE RE-LEARNED ONCE THEY ARE INSTALLED AND THE WHEEL/TIRE IS BACK ON THE VEHICLE. In most cases, you can relearn them without tools, but you must read the instruction manual.

For the $ they are great. What they DO NOT SAY, they are blank and MUST BE PROGRAMMED for your specific vehicle. WITHOUT PROGRAMMING, YOU WILL NOT WORKOUT. PS and an additional $85.00 at the dealer. It still saved over $200, according to a FORD dealer. But this company needs to become more predictable in its work.

Worked great on 2010 F150. 40 days so far and still working perfectly. The sensors didn't have to be programmed, but the vehicle had to be put into learn mode and wake up each sensor so the vehicle could learn them. I have the Tpms3 tool for this, but you can also do this by simply deflating and re-inflating each tire in learn mode.

Bought these when 2 of mine broke. Of the four in this pack, only three were usable. The fourth has already read itself as in need of a replacement. My mechanic got injured and couldn't replace them for a while. By the time I knew it was defective, the return window had closed. It was still cheaper than paying $80 a piece at the dealer, but when you buy one expect them all to work!

UPDATE: They are starting to peel off. After long drives, the system detects a TPMS malfunction, which is annoying. It happened 3 times. The warning disappears after restarting the vehicle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. UPDATE: I went to Discount Tire Co and using their TPMS device I was able to activate these sensors and pair them to my truck. They also did it for free. I could never get her to work on my mother's 2009 Ford Escape. I bought two different programmers that were recommended to work with these sensors and put the car in programming mode, but they never synced. I would return them but not worth taking them out of the hoop. I'll try to install them with forscan or I'll just shut down the system altogether. In the end, I blame Ford.
