Lowering the fan has a price. Doesn't move anywhere near the stated volume. I deduct 2 stars for that. A branded fan of the same size moves almost twice as fast as CFM when measured.

I bought this device instead of the factory device. While not a direct replacement, it was easy to install and wiring was simple. Works better than factory, I'm very satisfied.

Installation on my quad was quick and easy. There are multiple mounting hole positions, so you can easily find the right one. It runs smooth and quiet and has served well so far. If anything changes I will edit this review to update it.

My build isn't on the way yet but I was able to make the fairing and install the fan. I used a 12 volt battery from my kids car to test it and it actually seems to be moving air. I set it up as an exhaust fan. I am happy with the fan. Not very loud either.

No where close to advertised 1500 cfm. At best, this fan can produce a maximum of 600 CFM. Other than that it's a well built unit and big, only dissatisfied with the lack of real airflow, have used it with another cooler that doesn't require a CFM allocation and it has worked fine. Still looking for a real 1500 cfm fan for my project.

When I took the backhoe apart this spring/summer I found a heater core (leaking slightly) and a fully stuck fan providing heat to the cab . I use these fans to cool the radiator for industrial use. When I set it up, the fan pulled hot air through the radiator, which cooled the 140-degree Fahrenheit mineral oil. Each of them works 24/7 for about 5 months, connected to a 12 volt transformer. They're not used nearly as often in a car.
