Doesn't work as advertised

Not as advertised. For safety reasons, the brightness is only dimmed to 50% in Auto mode, despite claims to turn it off. Very nice lamp, but I wouldn't buy one like that. This doesn't serve my purpose as there isn't a mode that completely disables it. The buyer simply knows that the claims about the automatic mode are false.

Great for adding the farmhouse style

The farmhouse is my favorite new home style and these barn lights really give it an authentic look. I put it in front of our house and it completely transforms it into a modern farmhouse. It was easy to install where the previous light was and I just asked my husband to do it. It turns on automatically at night as it was a twilight sensor. The material is metal, and depending on the bulb you use, it can light up the room well.

Not good for wall lights as advertised

The list should be rewritten to include some clarification. There are no "multiple modes" for this light. It either turns off manually or turns on at 50% and ramps up to 100% when motion is detected. Disappointed with the lack of functionality. There is also a small red LED on the sensor that flashes when motion is detected, which is a bit annoying and distracts from the lamp. Not compatible with most 800 lumen dimmable LED bulbs. I tried.

. I have tried several 800 lumen (60W equivalent) dimmable LED bulbs in this fixture including those from GE, Philips and Luxrite. They either flickered or refused to light up at all. A similar light I bought has no problems with either of these bulbs. When I contacted Motini to complain, they uselessly suggested that I use incandescent bulbs instead of LEDs. Inaccurate description.

This lamp has not been advertised. There is no twilight to twilight transition and no true motion detection. It's either on or off. It just pulses brighter and softer. LED bulbs also do not work in this fixture. They flicker like crazy. I would like to return it, but when I installed it, the return period had expired. Do not buy.

not working, no way to contact manufacturer to take advantage of 3 year warranty

So we bought this light 32 days ago and a licensed electrician was finally able to install it. That does not work. We couldn't return it to Revine as it had been 30 days.
