Stupid! Measuring 4.9 inches including rope. With? Very deceptive images, I've been happy with several MP products but this is ridiculous, the flip tool is about 1" long, a deceptive commercial practice. It sucks, just used it and my Honda's cogs chewed it up pretty good. I will be lucky if I get 2-3 more uses of this PO ESS

All in all a great little tool. I say little because it is small. Works very well with regular gears and the magnet is perfect for holding on to. But for any other type of gear, bevel gear, helical gear - not so much, if something does not stick, it immediately slips out. All in all a good tool and it worked well to tighten my clutch disc.

Worked great to lock up my spare timing chain sprockets but the magnet needs to be countersunk. It fitted the tooth perfectly and the tooth broke the magnet and small magnetic bits got into the gear which took me a long time to clean. Still, certainly better than a dime. The magnet is very strong and holds well.

I actually damaged the shaft by putting a lot of pressure on it - it was like jumping with pressure on the crowbar. The gears on this device have not deformed, but this product has deformed - but that's a good thing! For the price it was worth it and I'll buy a replacement. I'm certainly glad that this device not only gets the job done but buckles down when fools like me show up and ends up saving the engine I was working on.

I bought this little guy to help fix a bike I'm working on. It certainly looks cool and works well. Unfortunately I was able to make some serious gouges in it with my gears and even bend the part a bit. It definitely won't last forever, I might use it 1 or 2 more times before I completely destroy it. But it definitely works. I'll buy another one if needed. For me, performance comes before durability. The magnet keeps it on the device great, and the little string that attaches to it helps when…
