I had to order a second one because the first one fell apart in my hands trying to insert it into the slot I created install for it. The second one actually fell apart too, but I learned how to put it back together by trying the first one. THE COMPANY JUST HAS TO GLUING THE TOP TO THE BASE. Socket connections are at the top and circuit boards and cables at the bottom. This is a good charger but I suggest you tape it first or use black tape. DO NOT REMOVE THE TOP!

I had to disassemble the whole unit and re-solder all the positive and negative cables and one of the USB connectors, cut the fuse and the crappy one Connection NOW it works exactly as advertised. But after a month of use it doesn't work again, I wouldn't spend money on this product.

I've had this installed for a few weeks now. Loads and looks great. However I had to change the part where it fits into the dashboard because the squares were too big and wouldn't fit. It was a little frustrating. Also, every now and then it would randomly stop charging and I'd have to unplug and plug it back in. Also, it's only 2.1a and not for every charging port, so don't get confused. You only get about 1a per port.

Insert into unused switch hole and plug into an "always on" 12v cigarette lighter socket. I had to change the tabs on the back of the USB connector to fit the latch. I needed a razor blade and some sandpaper to cut it about a millimeter. Fit and finish were acceptable.
