Terrible fit, won't recommend

Automotive replacement part I purchased did not fit properly. As a result of my tests, I determined that the thermostat caused overheating issues, making it detrimental to the engine. The only advantage with this product is its affordable price .Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. no matter what type of vehicle you own I advise against investing in this particular thermostat..

Looks like a quality unit but is NOT a quality unit

This thermostat opens at 220F not 203F as advertised. Do not buy! It all looked fine, I installed it correctly and the truck was idling almost to the hot mark. I used a thermocouple and the water outlet temp was 220-230 at idle and went higher when a load was put on it. Bought a Chepo Autozone thermostat to go on holiday and it worked as expected.
