Don't be a victim by protecting your gas tank with this cap. With gas prices going up every day, a full tank of gas for my SUV costs over $60, so you can protect what's yours for less than 2 or 3 gallons. Follow the simple instructions and get the right one for your car. It took a few attempts to turn this on and off in a hurry, but it's worth it. The closed lid simply turns, revealing that it is locked, and simply turning the key half a turn unlocks the lid. Would highly recommend this product

Incredibly badly made. The lock cylinder was rigid and difficult to operate out of the box. I used graphite lock grease and it worked a little better so I tried it on the car. ONCE it worked. The second time I tried to open it was just two weeks later when I was low on gas in the middle of the night in remote Wyoming and it got stuck on the lock!
